Hafiz Abdul Baqi & Co

Investor and entrepreneur routes turn on one question above all others: where the money came from, and whether that can be evidenced to an evidentiary standard that satisfies a foreign authority.

For Pakistani applicants this is where matters most often stall — not because the funds are improper, but because the paper trail was never built. Wealth accumulated over decades through property, agricultural land or a family business is entirely legitimate and frequently very difficult to document to the standard required.

Routes we cover

  • Business visitor visas for meetings and conferences
  • Investor and entrepreneur routes
  • Intra-company transfer applications
  • Source of funds documentation and evidence
  • Corporate documentation for sponsoring entities
  • Business plans for entrepreneur applications

What we do from Pakistan

  • Source of funds documentation and the supporting evidential chain
  • Corporate records, audited accounts and shareholding documentation
  • Property valuations and title documentation where assets are the source
  • Tax records and reconciliation with declared wealth
  • Business plans and market documentation for entrepreneur routes
  • Structuring advice where a Pakistani company is part of the application

Build the paper trail before you apply

Source of funds evidence cannot usefully be assembled at the last minute. It requires bank records over a period, tax filings consistent with the wealth claimed, and documentation for each significant transaction in the chain.

Because the firm also handles corporate, tax and property work, we can identify the gaps early and, where possible, put in place the documentation that will later be required — rather than discovering the problem when an application is already in.

Common Questions

Frequently asked

Why is source of funds such a problem for Pakistani applicants?

Because legitimate wealth here is often held in property, agricultural land or an unincorporated family business, and historic transactions were frequently in cash and undocumented. The funds are lawful; the evidential chain simply was never created. Building it takes time, which is why it should start well before an application.

Do my tax filings need to match?

They will be examined, and unexplained inconsistency between declared income and the wealth being relied on is a serious problem. This should be reviewed and, where necessary, regularised before applying rather than after.

Consultancy and advice only. No outcome is guaranteed. The decision on any application rests entirely with the deciding authority, and no adviser can promise a visa. Immigration advice is also a regulated activity in most destination countries: the firm’s work is carried out from Pakistan — eligibility assessment against published rules, documentation, verification, attestation and supporting submissions — and where a matter requires regulated representation in the destination country we coordinate with advisers regulated there. Requirements change frequently; check the current position before acting.
